HAVAS LYNX, INTERACTIVE LEARNING AND TRAINING EXHIBITION – DUBAI

Our client Havas Lynx is one of the UK’s top PR & Communications agencies, and their client is a global pharmaceutical company called Novo Nordisk. The event is a 2-day interactive learning/training exhibition with dedicated learning & content sessions for delegates (across 7 spaces) in Dubai. Involving over 110 delegates, from 24 different countries The aim of the event was to provide the roll out and training for the Novo Nordisk 2018 ‘Modern Insulin’ campaign strategy, situational selling sessions and best practice sessions.

In terms of event production, the brief for Make Happen was to design, plan, produce and deliver all aspects of the event, working closely with both Havas Lynx and Novo Nordisk. The theme of the event was ‘create tomorrow’.

Approach

Aligned with the brief, and the expectations of both Havas Lynx and Novo Nordisk, we focused on producing a creative, well executed and memorable event. Our role included working closely with both Havas Lynx and Novo Nordisk – on everything from the ‘theme’ to producing and delivering the entire event, for 85 guests at the Ritz Carlton Dubai, in the Dubai Financial Centre. Make Happen’s responsibilities included all aspects of event production – venue selection & management, event planning & production, requirements & quality management, regulations & permits, venue & sub-contractor management, branded exhibition & graphics & display stands, schedule management, delegate registration, food planning, room design & production, lighting, sound, content, a social dinner, and delegate management. An important aspect of this approach was selecting and working with the superb team at the Ritz Carlton Dubai, in the Dubai Financial Centre, who we’d highly recommend.

 

Results

Excellent team-work between an integrated team from Make Happen, Havas Lynx, Novo Nordisk and the Rits Carlton. A successful event, where all 110 delegates enjoyed a memorable, informative and well executed event. Delegates enjoyed a smooth check-in and registration process, before arriving to receive a variety of business knowledge updates, including brand and product updates, best practice sharing, a social dinner, selling workshops (within a dedicated learning exhibtion space), medical updates and group activities. Feedback at the event was excellent, from Havas Lynx and Novo Nordisk and their delegates.
