Our client is one of the leading real estate companies globally and they want to make an impact at a trade show. At the start of 2018 they came to us looking for a new, innovative and creative solution to some of the challenges they had faced at previous trade shows. Our client asked us to help them stand out from the crowd at Europe’s Largest Housing Event.

Maximum impact means maximum ambition and aspirations. And so, we decided to put together a team that embodied this ethos. Make Happen over the last 5 years, have assembled a team of formidable talent who have at least 20 years’ experience and know how to push the boundaries and design stands that are cutting edge and modern.

Working closely with the client, Make Happen was briefed to design, plan and deliver all production. This included everything from 3D modelling and rendering for client approval, calculations and health and safety requirements for the show organiser, fabrication and steelwork, joinery and painting, right through to delivery, installation and de-rig all within tight time scales.

After an extensive planning meeting with all parties involved we knew the best course of action was to come up with an idea that was completely bespoke and flexible. We wanted to keep a minimalist feel to the stand whilst still showcasing the bold vibrant colours of the brand and incorporate inset televisions with looping videos to aid with sales chats and talks.

The idea for the stand came from understanding our client’s needs to of wanting a unique space where they could engage with prospects away from the busy event and create a homely atmosphere where they would be able to informally conduct sales talks.

The stand would be finished off with a large free-standing unit with integral LCD displays, a bespoke gloss laminated and LED illuminated sample desk, and a bespoke, illuminated logo wall completed the brief. Not surprisingly, all exhibition stands are erected against a strict set of regulations and health and safety procedures – all of which are monitored and checked carefully. This aspect of the project was certainly challenging but the final result was well worth the extra effort.

As this is an ongoing project, we will post pictures after the event – keep visiting the site for updates
