ANNUAL KICK OFF PARTY
SUMMARY
To support Living Ventures with their annual staff party, which is renowned for being creatively themed, very interactive and extremely fun. Bringing 250 staff from head office, venue managers and head chefs, LV had themed this year’s party “L-VIVA MEXICO”, with the aim to start the party as a traditional Mexican Fiesta, which would then transform into a Day of The Dead Party.
APPROACH
Working closely with the LV, we planned, sourced and managed all entertainment aspects of the event including Mariachis, Dancers, Giant Glowing Puppets, Live Musicians & DJs (provided by Genre Music), Costumes, Schedule and Choreography, managing the relationship pre-event and briefing the AV team on specific requirements.
RESULTS
A unique guest experience that ensured a close collaboration with Living Ventures to create a high energy and creative staff party & awards evening. The event began with an introduction by our lead Mariachi who revealed the party space to all guests. The Mariachis then performed a bespoke song (with lyrics written by staff at Living Ventures), encouraging audience participation. Meanwhile, dancers were roaming around the audience, encouraging guests to have fun, followed by a DJ playing Reggaeton. Street food was served, entertainment continued and the evening was then followed by a brief awards ceremony (which we musicalised also). Following a short break after the awards ceremony, the lights were dimmed, a dramatic drum recording began, as did an indoor storm (created with sound effects, lighting and changing colour clouds). We then revealed our Day of The Dead procession which included 12 performers in full make up holding skull lanterns, a giant glowing skull, a giant skeleton and puppeteers. After a deliberate sombre procession, we transported everyone back to the party, with carnival tunes, confetti canons and live musicians throughout the rest of the evening.
